We are training this Sunday 4th March at 10am after a good result at Henley finishing the 2nd best club crew - we are now training for the race season and happy to involve new members - so come and join us.

HENLEY & TRAINING IN MARCH 2012

We are not training 26th February as we are racing in the last of the series of races at Henley.

Sunday & Thursday training sessions for whole crew in March are as follows;

Sunday 4th March - 10am onthe water

Sunday 11th March - 10am on the water

Sunday 18th March - 10am on the water

Sunday 25th March - 10am on the water (Note BST starts put your clocks forward an hour on night of 24th March)

Thursday 29th March - 6:30pm on the water

We had a great turn out and lots of interest.  A special thank you to all the paddlers and all their friends that came along to support us and all those that took time to talk to us about Dragon Boat Racing and any new friends that we may have made.

How to Find Us & Where to Park for Training

We are located on the River Avon near Crews Hole on the St Annes side of the river where our 10 man training and 20 man racing boats are stored in The Ariel Rowing Club.

How to find us - go down St Anne's Road and at the round-about head towards the Co-Operative super market estate along Wyatts View onto Robertsons Drive then into Pump House Lane the club is at the far end. 

Please note - park diagonally on the right-hand side of the lane only, there is no parking past the Pump House or outside the pump house.  Please also do not park on the side of the track nearest the river as this is not only dangerous it can damage the sunken lights.  If there are no spaces please park in the estate along Robertsons Road ensuring that no access is blocked by your car.

We train on Sundays from 10am until midday and Thursdays from 6.30pm until 8pm.  In the summer months when light is not an issue our training is water based on both days, in the winter from approximately the beginning of October through to March we train on Sundays only whatever the weather.
