Location: how to find Bristol Empire Dragons at Avon County Rowing Club (ACRC)

The club is situated at the Bath end of Saltford, just off the A4.
Postcode BS31 3JS takes you to the required turning off the A4.

From Bristol

Follow the A4 to Bath. Towards the end of Saltford there is hill which you drive down. At the bottom there is a left turn to the Marina. Don't turn left there! Follow the A4 a bit further and turn left after about 100 yards - there is a field on the left behind a stone wall. You may park in the field or follow the track to the boathouse.

Bristol Empire Dragons is the furthest away of the buildings not in the new development as you enter the carpark.

From Bath

Join the A4 to Bristol. Just when you enter Saltford there is a garage on the left. The club is a little further on (less than 100 yards) on the right. From there follow the instructions above.

Theft - A Timely Reminder

The theft of an O1 is a timely reminder for all of us to make sure we keep everything locked, tied and bolted down! You just can't trust anyone these days! Report anyone not associated with the club to each other just for safety! Keep a note of number plates easy to say after the horse has bolted!

Devizes to Westminster

A fantastic display of true grit and determination saw Gary and Ginette Corr conquer the 125 mile Devizes to Westminster race on Saturday and Sunday. Gary and Ginette led the race through Saturday night being caught by three boats at Teddington Lock. They finished 4th fastest c2 and second fastest mixed crew beaten by just 46 seconds! The amazing part of this fantastic achievement is Ginettes determination to finish despite being unwell through the night and Sunday - as Gary has said Ginette is the deserved owner of the "hard Corr" mantle. Well done guys it was an honour and a pleasure to be invited to support you both said Rob, Stu, Candy and Ian. It was also great to see Dom, Amy, and Clive and Liz who also gave great support at a number of locks on Saturday! Fantastic achievement both - you will look back on this one day and realise just how much you achieved.

As the clocks have changed we are now able to make the most of the light evenings with an additional training session during the week.  Training starts at 6.30pm on Thursdays and 9am on Sundays.
